Philip was the Research Program Manager of the Forest Service’s Redding Silviculture Forest Science Lab from 1987–2000 capping off a 37- year Forest Service career. He then went on to serve as Vice President of the California Forestry Association from 2000-2005 and from 2006 to 2012 was a consulting forester for the American Forest Resource Council in Northeast Washington where he lives in the Spo
